Where do I begin?  Everyone loves Debbie.  And I always knew that I wanted her to be my friend.  She is cool AF – but not in that superior and unapproachable way of being cool – no way.  Deb is THE MOST down to earth, levelheaded, wise and supportive person on the planet.  She is also overflowing with integrity and will call a spade a spade.  If my perceptions on a topic line up with Deb’s, I will feel justified and we’ll enjoy laughing about it.  And we laugh.  A lot.

Deb is one of those people, who, despite becoming a devoted Mother to two gorgeous and totally cool little babes, she. has. not. changed.  She can still hold a conversation on a range of non-baby-related topics but in saying that, her honest accounts of motherhood are totally raw and hilarious.    Deb is a wife and best friend to her teenage sweetheart.  She is a drag queen appreciator, a Japanophile and super creative and, as many women do once having children, is rediscovering her passions and what sparks joy for HER – and for Deb that is writing. 

Oh, and if a zombie apocalypse should ever come a-knocking….I’m hanging with Deb.  She’ll be ready, won't be freaked out and will know exactly what to do....as always.
